A Few Steps to Offering
Massage Sponsorships
at Your Events

1.  Decide if you want 1-2 large areas or if you
want several spots through out the exhibit hall or event with 1-2 chairs at each location.

2.  Decide if you want to offer the sponsorship to 1 or more exhibitors and if you want attendees to go to exhibitors’ booth to get a coupon or poker chip in order to get a massage* or not.
(This enables you to offer it to 5- 10 different exhibitors. Listing their names and booth numbers on signage at the massage booth, as well as in other event material i.e. Show Guide, Map, Show Daily etc. )

3.  Figure out the hours you want to offer massage. i.e. Exhibit Hall Hours; Peak Registration Hours, Reception .

4.  Then decide on the number of massage chairs you would like to have. This does not have to be accurate and can be adjusted based on the number of sponsors or revenue generated. Each massage chair could be thought of as a single sponsorship item, with no limit on how many chairs may be sponsored by a single exhibitor. Contact us if you need assistance. Rates vary by the number of hours and therapists

5. Decide what you are willing to offer the sponsor: Some suggestions below:

1. Massage Therapists will wear sponsor
    provided logo shirt or attire.
2. Therapists will hand out sponsors'
    literature or items
3. Therapists can send attendees to
    sponsors' exhibit.
4. Name on Sponsorship Signage at
   massage station
5. Name in promo in Show Guide and/or
    Show Daily.
6. Place free massage coupons in
    registration bags.

6.  Then pick a name for the sponsorship. Ex. "Relaxation Station”,  "Massage Oasis",  “Stress-Free Zone" etc.

7. Then put the sponsorship opportunity on your event website and any other marketing collateral for your exhibitors. Contact Us!

*** Controlled studies, conducted at UM School of Medicine, Duke and Georgetown  Universities. Groups of subjects received 10-15-minute chair massages ,while other groups rested for the same period of time.

EEG results showed that subjects who  received chair massages, had a decrease in alpha and beta brain waves (indicating greater alertness) and an increase in delta waves, suggesting they were more relaxed.

They worked math computations faster and more accurately than the groups who only  rested for the same periods of time.
